Who is studying — e.g. 'a curious 7th grader with no science background'.
Step two
How the deck works
- One card at a time. The question shows on its own — no peeking at the answer.
- Reveal the answer with the full-width button under the question.
- Mark yourself Got it or Missed it; that advances you to the next card.
- After card five you get a plain score line — "You got 4 of 5" — and the whole card set below it for review.

While it runs you'll see the real stage it's on — first Building the question bank…, then Writing the cards…. Your topic and level stay exactly as you typed them.

Where the cards come from
Does it search the web?
No. There is no web search anywhere in this app. The five cards are written only from the topic sentence and level you give — that same source note stays visible under your score at the end of the deck.
What makes a good topic sentence?
- Name the sub-parts. "The water cycle: evaporation, condensation, precipitation, collection" beats "science".
- Bound it. A date range, a chapter, or four named ideas keeps all five cards on target.
- Say the level honestly. The wording of every question is pitched at the reader you describe.
Can I run the same topic twice?
Yes. Press Make my flashcards again and you get a fresh set of five cards; nothing you typed is cleared unless you use Clear both fields.
